Stella Louise Adams, 76, passed away January 11, 2022 at home in Longview, WA. Born September 18, 1945 in Redlands, California to James Albert Prudholm and Cathileen Olive Olson. After moving from the Redlands in 1947, she moved to Longview, Washington residing there for 74 years. In 1964, Stella graduated from Mark Morris High School. During her life, she worked as a preschool teacher at Lower Columbia College, a Sunday school teacher at her church on 20th Avenue and a proud homemaker.
Stella married Gordon Ellis Adams on December 31, 1987.
Stella enjoyed crocheting, making crosses in a pocket out of canvas and going to bunco with her friends from church.
She will forever be remember for her wonderful personality, her kindness, love to help others and above all else her love for her family.
Stella is survived by daughters Marlena Bernal and Gayla Grubb; Grandchildren Matthew and Ryan Grubb, Mariah Gossage, Josh and Alanna Eitelman, Adrienne and Nicolas Raught; Siblings Cathy Douglas, Fred Olson and Jim Prudholm; Great Grandchildren Amira and Kiara Grubb, Mallory Scouller, Josh Eitelman, Jr and Kinnley Eitelman and Brooklyn Woolstenhulme and numberous nieces and nephews.
Stella was proceed by her beloved husband, Gordon; parents – “Father” James Prudholm, “Dad” Chalres Olson and “Mother” Cathileen Olson, Grandparents; Robert and Cathileen Cochrane, Sisters; Hilma Frances Bailey, Viola Lute and Mary Wheeler, Brother; Richard Prudholm and Great Granddaughter Athena Marie Grubb.
