Sandra Dawn (Folsom) Crawford was born May 14, 1942 in Leavenworth, WA, the first daughter and 2nd of 7 children of Maxwell Peterson and Marjorie Emma (Wall) Folsom. In 1949, moved to Ephrata through HS graduation in 1960. Freshman BYU-Hawaii; Sophomore BYU-Provo. First married 1962, Ronald Melvin West, the father of her eight children; Barry (Melanie), Lake Stevens, WA; Randy, Cougar WA; Stephanie (Mike) Macula, Lehi, UT; Darren (Claudia), Gilbert, AZ; Jeremy (Shannon), Ariel, WA; Jodie (Anthony Webster), Yacolt, WA; Amy (Colin) Esko, Salem, OR; Emily (Travis Schmitz), Woodland, WA; who survive along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Married the love of her life Robert James Crawford 1995, who survives, along with his 9 children, many grands and greats. She loved them all and they all called her grandma. She is survived by siblings: Diane Packham, Provo, UT; Marianne (Dale) Anderson, Provo, UT; Brad (Wendy) Folsom, Ogden UT; Lisa (Mike) Becker, Boise, ID. Preceded in death by parents and brothers Phil and Greg.
She was an accomplished pianist and organist and spent many years serving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of which she was a life-long member. She loved to sew; made over 150 quilts for family, friends and humanitarian; enjoyed Sudoku puzzles-esp. 16 square challenger; of late enjoyed many hours indexing records (birth, death, marriage, etc. for Family Search. Hoped to reach a million names before she passed more than 900,000 as of June 2022.
