Rosella Rita (Ripp) Teel, 84 years old, of Woodland, Washington passed on to Heaven on June 11, 2024 in Woodland, Washington. Rosella was born June 11, 1940, in Nebraska to Max and Mary (Granger) Ripp. Rosella was raised and remained a long-time resident of Woodland, Washington. Rosella worked as a certified nursing assistant, medical ward clerk, and within medical records. Rosella was a dearly loved mother, grandmother, and friend. Rosella’s favorite pastimes included spending time outdoors with family and friends. She was often found fishing or camping, hosting family functions, and finding deals at local thrift stores or garage sales. Rosella was a devoted Christian and a long-standing Woodland Church of the Nazarene member. Rosella was a faithful prayer warrior and lover of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rosella will forever be remembered for her generous spirit, always willing to put the needs of others before herself. She was a fierce advocate for those who struggled to advocate for themselves. She will leave a legacy of hospitality, compassion, and love. Rosella was the widow of her beloved husband Earl H. Teel, whom she married on April 7th , 1978, in Vancouver Washington. Rosella was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl Teel; two sons, Robert Brown and Ronald Brown; a stepdaughter, Deon Anderson; two sisters, Shiela Johnson and Angeline Gray; and a brother, Ronald Ripp. Rosella is survived by a brother, Steve Ripp of Bonnet Lake, Washington, a son, Kenneth Brown of Split Lake, Idaho, a daughter, Angela Bush of Springfield, Missouri, two stepsons, Gene Teel of Woodland, Washington and Marty Teel of Castle Rock, Washington, fifteen grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. The memorial service will be held at a later date. The officiant will be her younger brother, Rev. Steve Ripp.
